Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Her studies in theatre were at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at TV and films. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Anna was later cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood, which was filmed between 2000 and 2001. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes end of Walter White's life.
